We collect essential personal information required to verify member identity and facilitate carpool matching:

• Full Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and Mobile Verification Data.
• Driver Verification: Ontario Class G Licence details, Vehicle Registration, and Insurance confirmation.
• Location & Route Details: Pickup and drop-off coordinates entered for route matching.
• Payment Information: Encrypted credit card tokenization for processing the platform connection fee.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly to provide carpooling connection services, verify user accounts, prevent fraud, enforce safety standards (including the Women's Safety Filter), and process platform fee transactions.

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Protections

Cashride does NOT sell, rent, or trade user personal data to third-party marketers. Information is shared only with verified carpooling partners for matched trips (e.g. driver/rider first name, profile picture, and pickup contact info).

4. Data Security & Storage

All data transmitted through Cashride is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols. Server infrastructure resides in secure data centers adhering to Canadian privacy standards.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal account data at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer at contact@cashride.ca.
